Found a learn to knit web series on You Tube for Teens--guess I just need instructions given really slowly and at the most basic level to succeed.
Here is my cast on (independently), knitted and purled tiny scarf. Think I will finish it for DD2's favourite stuffy.
I'm so impressed! I want to learn to knit, too. I'll have to check out youtube and/or 'knitting for dummies'.

ReplyDeletejen, see post for today where i posted a link to the web video i used. i have tried books and other videos and i just couldn't quite understand the process of casting on and purling (that is a separate video but once you find one you can find others) despite years of trying (i am a very slow learner apparently). she explained it perfectly.
